Efficiency & performance

The Sun-Spot will produce a 22-inch diameter curing foot print from a distance of 18 inches reaching a temperature of 160 °F within 4 minutes. Working with a one-pound bottle of camping-type (16.4 Oz / 465 Gr.) propane, the Sun-Spot has an autonomy of 3.5 hours. Equipped with a 6-foot tripod stand, this unit is a robust, yet light weight, portable construction weighing only 7 pounds.

Fields of application

The handheld Sun-Spot unit is ideal for spot repairs; this is an excellent tool for use in both the preparation and paint shops. The fields of application have no limit. The energy produced will force dry or cure any type of coating system, solvent or water base formulation, whether in the automotive, aerospace, marine, industrial or architectural sector. It also works on any type of glue, sealant, resin, etc… over any type of substrate ex.: metal, composite, fibreglass, wood, plastic, etc…

Catalytic combustion

The flameless combustion produced by the Sun-Spot emits medium wave infrared radiation which will generate heat within the film through molecular excitation. This action drives solvents/ water outward.
