Drying or baking “Curing”?

2019-09-04T11:23:47+00:00

It is important to understand that our products do not dry, they provide a cooking process called "curing", which has a very different meaning. Compared to hot air or ambient air-drying times, you can assemble or pack the products in addition to the 4-hour delay to return and apply a second coat.

What is the cooking time?

The cooking time varies between 2 and 6 minutes. In a "racking", it is about 10 to 20 minutes for a complete curing. After cooling is completed, you can proceed with packing, assembly or returning the piece for a second coat.

When pieces of a product are in the center of a rack/paint dolly, how are they dried?

2019-09-04T11:27:44+00:00

Our transmitters emit a wavelength of 2-10 microns. Any organic product is absorbed between 3-4 microns. Our emissions perfectly match the specifications to be absorbed by paint, glue, mastic, etc. For example, if they were not perfectly in the "focus" during the curing time of "racking", there would be a curing time of 15 minutes instead of 3-4 minutes if the question was about being "focus" perfect. In comparison, hot air curing would have a minimum cycle of 45 minutes to 4 hours or overnight if it was room temperature.
